SCOTLAND... at its root akin to the Hebrew word: sukkot, Succoth; the temporary booths of wanderers, those on a journey. We hope many in that exceptional nation still know they are in a key though temporary place... as the time of the Gentiles comes to a close; and in that place they must still be faithful until He comes whose right it is to reign the nations. Till then, there's no need to be pressured to readjust boundaries!

The Declaration of Arbroath - 1320 displayed in the National Records of Scotland;
in western society, the Declaration called for a constitutional culture placing the rights of the individual above the king. The world owes a great debt to those faithful, rugged Scottish people of 700 years ago. I hope they continue to fight for individual rights and push aside governing powers who think those rights come from them. The rights of the individual are self-evident - they come from being valued by our Creator, made in His image.

From the Declaration of Arbroath we read:

We know and from the chronicles and books of the ancients we find that among other famous nations our own, the Scots, has been graced with widespread renown.

They journeyed from Greater Scythia by way of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Pillars of Hercules, and dwelt for a long course of time in Spain...

Thence they came 1200 years after the people of Israel crossed the Red Sea [1450bc], to their home in the west where they still live today.

In their kingdom there have reigned one hundred and thirteen kings of their own royal stock, the line unbroken by a single foreigner.

The high qualities and deserts of these people, were they no otherwise manifest, gain glory enough from this:

that the King of kings and Lord of lords, our Lord Jesus Christ, after His Passion and Resurrection, called them, even though settled in the uttermost parts of the earth,

almost the first to His most holy faith. Nor would He have them confirmed in that faith by merely anyone but by the first of His Apostles – the most gentle Andrew, the blessed Peter’s brother and desired him to keep them under his protection as their patron forever.

One final comment: We recognize in our genius 21st century, highly educated critical voices will challenged this as "silly history" (we've all heard them in graduate classes even as they dropped out... while we put up with their snide comments) critics who matter of fact... and quite seriously believe they are derived from their father a monkey - and funny thing, I believe they are - evidence of the missing link, trousered monkeys chasing after their bananas;
oh, and then they still dress up in their heroic Darth Vader costumes on Halloween. So, umm?! no need to listen to those squawking critics.

The Declaration of Arbroath has been around a lot longer than they will be; and it's obvious that someone... certainly MANY of uncommon principle and understanding in SCOTLAND back then... were willing to live in such a way, and even die... for what their magnificent history had taught them.

Isn't genetics and DNA research interesting? Josephs 2 sons were 1/2-Egyptian; and Scotia -- where Scotland gets its name, according to ancient Irish history, was the daughter of an Egyptian pharaoh; in Egypt during the Hyksos era - the foreign shepherds era, numerous mummies of pharaohs with red hair are found – red hair is the least common color of hair, the distribution of red hair is about 1% in the world, but in Scotland and Ireland around 10 – 13 % of the population has red hair, with 30 – 45% carrying the red hair gene; 70% of men in Britain have a genetic profile related to King Tutankhamen of Egypt (while less than 1% of modern day Egyptians have that same genetic connection)

SCOTLAND... be faithful!
