KJV-lite Intro JOY |
|
PSALM 24 vs 1 |
The text pdf - Who is this King of glory? The Lord GOD almighty! He's the One who owns this place: planet Earth, and that other place.. the heavens, too! |
OH COME, OH COME EMMANUEL |
Lyrics pdf - Words: author unknown, c.1100; Music: Plain-song melody, c.1200: arranged for KJV-lite; recalling Herod's warrior protégés who also... are apparently afraid of 2 year olds; actually, we are remembering the children they murdered and families and whole communities devastated - at US tax-payers $$$...
Hey, while planning your happy holiday parties... have you noticed in the NEWS... all those guns and trucks and tanks and grenade launchers and other weapons? for years... are American military supplies... government officals tell us given to moderate terrorists... "but seized by daesh"... in Mosul, Iraq; North Nigeria... and so many other places. Daniel 2, 7, and 8... tells us it is the roman agenda, hard as iron, smashing and destroying until the whole world is broken. Thankfully the Lord himself one Day... will sort it out... when Emmanuel comes a 2nd time! By the way, Mosul is where prophet Jonah was buried, and it makes you wonder why Jesus said, the men of Nineveh (now days called: Mosul) will rise up in the Judgment with the queen of Sheba - a woman from Arabia... and condemn some folks |
ISAIAH 9 vs 1 |

The text pdf - the customs of the people are vain ...
for one cutteth a tree out of the forest ... they deck it with silver and gold ... they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not ... Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil ... neither can they do good. (It’s just a dumb tree.) |
ONCE IN ROYAL DAVID's CITY |

AND THEN... JESUS grew up!
So enjoy your family traditions, if you like... celebrate His coming every day of the year; just don't lose your mind (or your pocket-book) over all this roman inspired hoop-la! By the way, they don't celebrate Christmas in heaven... Jesus was probably born in September anyway!
NOW, we acknowledge that Jesus could have been born on the first day of Abib (pre-exilic Hebrew name), Nisan (post-exilic Babylonian name) – what many of us know as: March or April. Nisan is the first religious month on the Jewish calendar; when newborn lambs were inspected and selected for the Passover. The hillsides of Bethlehem were filled with shepherds watching over all the lambs prepared for the Temple sacrifices in Jerusalem. Nisan is also when the Barley and Flax harvest begins.
Jewish scholars tell us, lambs selected for the Temple were born in the early spring... although lambs are most frequently born sometime after summer, from fall through springtime. Nisan 10 is when the Passovers lambs were selected; Nisan 14 is when the Passover lambs were killed; Nisan 15 is the feast of Unleavened bread; Nisan 16 is when the Wave sheaf was offered by the high priest.
Was Jesus born on Nisan 1? We do not know. We do know... JESUS grew up! Definitely He wasn't born on that roman day.
AND... by the way, a long time ago Moses told us in Leviticus 23... there are SEVEN, 7 great Days, specific Days... the Lord does celebrate (and none of them is Christmas) -- Moses told us... those SEVEN, 7 Days belong to the Lord.
FOUR, 4 of those Days were completed when He lived among us... the apostle Paul told us... they were shadows of things to come fulfilled in something Jesus the Christ -- you know, Jesus the Messiah... He still is the Messiah, right? in something He comes to do; apart from Christ... all those days have NO meaning.
Well, THREE, 3 great Days still remain on His calendar: and the NEXT great Day, the 5th great Day is something for all of us to really get excited about! The 6th great Day; not so good! Check it out: Here at 7 DAYS OF THE LORD -- Leviticus 23! Remember: Moses told us all about those Days, specific DAYS that belong to the LORD.
Text: ISAIAH 53 vs 1 pdf - AND THEN.... JESUS grew up!
When you (and I) shall make His soul an offering for sin; He shall see... and be satisfied
And we don't need to wait till December; we can do that every day. Romans 12 says, daily... just wherever we are... renewing our minds; presenting ourselves to Him! It's the metanoia moment. He shall see... and be satisfied.
Other favorite pages on CHRISTMAS:
Christmas - more on the history of the Holiday.
The Birth of Christ - more about the Birth of Jesus the Christ, the Son of God; recorded by Matthew, who wrote his gospel account possibly 20 years after the resurrection of Jesus.
The Bethlehem Star - in the Virgo constellation, right?! Even William Shakespeare knew it!
By the way, check out the 2 pictures on the right (thanks to electron microscopy)... the pictures displayed here help to answer the question first asked Job (4,000 years ago) by the Creator God.
We read in Job 38:22 The Lord said to him: Have you entered into the treasures (the storehouse) of the snow? Can you imagine? Of snow? What's that all about? Well... trillions of these hexagonal icy wonders fall silently to the ground every day on planet earth... and yet, no 2 crystals are exactly alike. The first picture is an example of modern man's ability to create snow; the second is God's.
We hope you enjoyed your visit to KJV-lite Birth of CHRIST. Please, tell a friend. And in the meantime, here's a song that expresses our sentiment.
